At Mevotes ("we", "app"), we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it when you use our app.

1. Data We Collect

• Account info: Email address, display name, profile photo (optional)
• Vote data: Which Vottos you voted on and your choice (support/oppose, A/B)
• Content: Vottos you create and images you upload
• Usage data: In-app interactions, error reports
• Device info: OS, app version

2. How We Use Data

• Create and manage your account
• Calculate vote counts and display results
• Send notifications (with your permission)
• Improve the app and fix bugs
• Content moderation and safety

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share it in these cases:

• Firebase (Google): For data storage, authentication, and notifications
• Legal requirement: If required by court order or legal obligation

4. Vote Privacy

Your votes are anonymous — other users cannot see who voted for what. Only total counts and percentages are publicly visible.

5. Data Deletion

When you delete your account, all personal data (profile, vote history) is permanently deleted. Use Settings > Delete Account inside the app.

6. Security

Your data is stored encrypted on Firebase infrastructure. To report a security issue: security@mevotes.com

7. Children's Privacy

Mevotes is not intended for children under 13. If we become aware of collecting data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
